"The prettiest water I've ever paddled"
Expedition Packrafting Trips in Argentina's Patagonia Region
Our flagship packrafting trip to South America's Patagonia is made for intrepid souls who want to disconnect from the hustle, spend time off the grid with an incredible local community of guides and gauchos, and kayak stunning rivers under an impressive backdrop of peaks and glaciers. We start these trips with 2 introductory paddling days, making them accessible to even beginner paddlers. Rapids range from class I-II+
All trips are per private request only. Join our newsletter (footer of webpage) to stay tuned for group tour departures, coming in 2025.
Trips to Patagonia run during the South American summer, December to April. Our favorite time to float is mid-February thru March. Contact us using the form at the bottom of this page or by email - gowildusa@gmail.com - for more information and to book.
Argentine Patagonia | Tres Rios- Horseback to Packraft | 7-11 Days
Our custom trekking and packrafting trips in Argentina's Patagonia region start in San Carlos de Bariloche and head south for 1-2 days of honing paddling skills on a beautiful freestone river with drivable access. From there, it's into a remote, massive, glacier-carved valley for 2-5 days of trekking, with the option of adding mules to carry the gear. Camp out or stay with local ranchers and experience true Argentine cowboy culture before inflating boats and floating out of the wilderness over the course of 2-5 days.
Trips lengths vary depending on request. We custom build each itinerary based on clients' desires. Trips may be all-inclusive or choose to bring your own gear.
-
TRES RIOS: One Patagonia, three rivers. Dip your paddle into three different rivers, a crystal clear mountain stream, a tributary, and a large glacial river as you explore one of the most untraveled and wild valleys in Argentine Patagonia.
-
GAUCHO CULTURE: Step into a new culture as you explore a massive glacial valley that is only accessible by water or foot, where only a few hearty ranchers spend the year farming and raising cattle and sheep. Experience true rural Argentinian hospitality.
-
FISH & SWIM: Plunge into lakes, practice swimming through rapids, and cast a fly line for native trout and salmon on this trip where recreation possibilities are seemingly endless.
-
DISCONNECT: Even with an Argentine phone, you won't find cell service here. We carry satellite phones for safety, but let this be a chance to leave the your worries behind and reconnect with nature, your friends, and yourself. Most trips we don't see another soul for 2-3 days.
